PILOT EPISODE // THE ARTIST'S BRIEF
I’m starting a new season here for those who’ve been following since the etsy days and those who are new here, welcome. this is new for me too.
the pilot episode marks a new beginning a clean slate and a quiet shift into what’s next. rooted in the spirit of take two, it reflects the beauty of renewal, the momentum of change, and the willingness to step into the unknown. a reminder that evolving isn’t linear every moment is a chance to try again and move forward with purpose.
what’s changed?
I opened an etsy shop for my clothing line where everything first began. it started with an idea to do something different. I wanted to own a business and create and that’s when walkingoncloudsco was born and daydreamer dropped.
since then, I’ve dropped some gems like fragile, pnw (project new world), and happy?. but over time, I felt there was more to walkingoncloudsco. after some reflection, I decided I wanted to expand and start a new season. so much has evolved since my first drop and I’ve evolved too and I wanted to embrace that here.
about the pilot ep
I’ve had this idea for a while, but I wanted to give it something more a "grand entrance" so to speak. I wanted to tell a story through pictures, film, and more. I wanted to convey something I hadn’t done before. this time, I treated it like a production. I wanted to create something more than just a shirt you wear something to embody and something to feel inspired by.
what does it all mean?
I have my own personal connection to it, but I want you to have yours too that’s the beauty of art. in short and without giving away too much of my own meaning, it’s another take, a chance, permission to start over restart or do it again but differently. write your story and tell it in whatever way works for you.
this design is a milestone, a reflection of my new beginning, and a declaration that I’m stepping into the unknown with intention. I hope it inspires you to consider your own journey, take a leap, and embrace whatever’s waiting on the other side because something beautiful is.
